Services for Samuel R. White, 73, of 121 Hamilton in Phillips, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the First Baptist Church of Phillips with the Rev. Larry Miller, associate pastor of the First Baptist Church of Borger officiating.
Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Mortuary.
Mr. White died at 12:10 a.m. Sunday in North Plains Hospital. He had been a resident of this area for 47 years and was retired from Phillips Petroleum Company where he served as Stock Assistant Supervisor at the Refinery for 39 years.
He was born in Tarkio, Mo., Sept. 6, 1903. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Phillips.
Survivors include his wife, Opal; one son, Keith of Borger, one daughter, Mrs. Nancy Smith of Orlando, Fla.; a brother, Roy White of Mountain Home, Ark.; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Dell Hubbard, Pete Stockstill, Joe Andress, Eddie Webb, Fred Cochran, Foy Haddock, Bill Rigdon, Calvin Hill, Emerson Grooters, E.H. Daniel, Tommy Edson, and Jim Keen.
Honorary pallbearers will be the men's Sunday School Class of the First Baptist Church of Phillips, operators, stock, and blenders of the Phillips Refinery Plant.

Opal A. White, 81, of The Woodlands, Texas, died Monday in the Woodlands Nursing Home.
A homemaker, she was a native of Widman, Ark., and a former Phillips resident.
She is survived by her son, Keith White of The Woodlands; one daughter, Nancy Harrison of The Woodlands; three sisters, Murl Chivers of Borger, Coda Vogle of Stinnett, Evelyn Elmore of Amarillo; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are pending with Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors.
