Joe B. White, 86, Borger, died Saturday, Oct. 14, 1995 in his home.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Brown's Chapel of the Fountains with the Rev. Gregg Simmons, pastor First Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery by Brown Funeral Directors.

A native of Pecan Gap, Texas, he had been a longtime Borger resident. He was a retired area supervisor for Phillips Petroleum Company.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys in 1980.

Survivors include a daughter, Sheron Johnson of Albuquerque, N.M.; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Casketbearers will be C.C. Leonard, D.D. Binkley, Joe Moore, Gaylon Merrill, Bill Thomas, and Ronnie Klaus.

Mrs. White died this morning in Leisure Lodge.

A housewife, Mrs. White was a native of Montague. She had been an area resident for 53 years. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

Mrs. White is survived by her husband, J.B.; one daughter, Sharon Lynn Barwick of Albuquerque, N.M.; one brother, Frank H. Turbett, Jr. of Fritch; one sister, Mrs. Doris Wright of Borger; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
