*Obituary
J.P. Baker, auxiliary operator for the Panhandle Power and Light company at Jowett station, near Mobeetie, died at 9:45 last night at his home in Mobeetie. He had been in the employ of the company for three years and recently had been transferred from the Riverview station.

Prior to entering employ of the P.P. & L., Baker was with the Ralph Baker Gasoline company in Borger. He was 52 years old. The family came here from Healdton, Okla.

Surviving are the wife and five children, Jack, Agatha, Annie William, Paula and Carl; the mother of Baker, Mrs. Josephine Baker, who lived at Mobeetie with the family; a brother, A.D. Baker, and a sister, Mrs. Ruby Sargent, both of LeFors, Texas.

Burial probably will be at Wilson, Okla., after services in Borger, probably Sunday, conducted by Rev. A.F. Johnson, pastor of the First Baptist church.

Jack Baker, one of the sons, aged 16, was last heard of with Bob Gerrard, Oklahoma City, on route to Arkansas in search of work. His mother is anxious to find him before making funeral arrangements. Anyone knowing the boy's whereabout should call H.L. Rickard, telephone No. 10 Borger.
