Funeral services for B.O. (Jack) Baker, 59, were to be at 2 p.m. today at Johnson Park Church of Christ, with the pastor, Wesley Mickey, officiating.

Interment was to be in Westlawn Memorial Park directed by Ed Brown & Sons, funeral directors.

Casketbearers are Bill Buford, Dial King, Jay White, Vernon Rash, and Emory Johnson.

Honorary casketbearers are employes of Phillips Petroleum Company NGL department and Carl Hamilton, retired employe.

ALAMOSA, Colo. - Funeral services for Varetta Baker Wharton Welcher, 80, South Fork Colo., were at 10 a.m. today at the Del Norte Church of Christ.

Arrangements were by Butler-Showlter [sic] Funeral Directors of Alamosa.

Burial will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Borger, by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Mrs. Welcher died Sunday, May 28, 1995 at the Evergreen Nursing Home.

She was born May 6, 1915 in Wetumpka [sic], Okla., and was a former Borger resident. She was a homaker [sic] and a member of the Church of Christ.

Mrs. Welcher was preceded in death by two husbands, Jack Baker on Jan. 28, 1970 and Marion A. "Tud" Wharton in April of 1978; three brothers, four sisters and her parents.

Survivors include her husband, Frank Welcher, of the home; a son, Billy Baker of Euless, Texas, two daughters, Rosetta Dunigan of Amarillo, Texas, Betty Steelman of Canyon, Texas; a brother, Vernon Kelly of Davis, Okla.; 7 grand children and 15 great-grandchildren.
