BORGER - Arlene Baker, 85, died Saturday, June 26, 1999.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Bible Baptist Church with the Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor of Bible Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery by Brown Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Baker was born in Van Zandt County and had lived in Borger for 61 years. She was a retired maintenance employee for Phillips Petroleum Co., and attended Bible Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rex Baker, in 1970.

Survivors include two sons, Dennis Baskin of Mesquite and John Baskin of San Antonio; a stepson, Sam Baker of Columbia, S.C.; a half sister, Ruth Lane of Dumas; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
