BORGER (Special) - Services for Paul Rowland Davis, father of Mrs. Robert Schmidt of 5405 16th Place in Lubbock, will be conducted at 2 p.m. today in the First Presbyterian Church of Borger.

A retired chemist for Phillips Petroleum Company, Davis died at 6:30 p.m. Saturday in North Plains Hospital in Borger. He had been a resident of Borger since 1940, moving here from Oklahoma City.

In addition to his Lubbock daughter, he is survived by a brother, Glen Davis of Shreveport, La.; a sister, Mrs. Mildred Browning of South Laguna, Calif.; two other daughters, Mrs. Jack Houston of Albuquerque, N.M.; and Mrs. Dearl Temple of Springfield, Va; and seven grandchildren.

Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery of Borger, under direction of Simpson's Funeral Home.
