*Obituary William
Funeral services for William C. Turner, 57, of 1209 Roberts, will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Minton Memorial Chapel, with the Rev. W.R. Lawrence interim pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, officiating.

Mr. Turner died Sunday at High Plains Baptist Hospital in Amarillo. He was born October 26, 1921 in Franklin, Pa., and was an employee of Phillips Petroleum Company. He was a veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his father, Lawrence, of Franklin; a son Larry Joe of Dallas; three brothers, two sisters, and one grandchild.

Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton Mortuary.

Pallbearers will be S.A. Pace, Virgil Addis, L.D. Hill, Charles Morris, Stanley McCowan, and R.D. Morison.

Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Foundation.

Funeral services for Mrs. Billie Ruth Turner, 50, of 1209 Roberts, will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Calvary Baptist Church, with the Rev. Oral Speed, pastor, officiating.

Burial will follow in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton's Funeral Home of Borger.

Mrs. Turner died at 11 p.m. Saturday in North West Texas Hospital in Amarillo. She was a lifetime resident of this area.

Survivors include her husband, W.C., of the home; one son, Larry Joe, Wooster, Ohio; three brothers, Curtis Hillman, Amarillo, Jiggs Hillman, Fort Worth, and Royce Hillman, Arlington; two sisters, Mrs. Evelyn Isom and Mrs. Maxine Roy, both of Amarillo; and one grandson, Steven Grant, Dallas.
