Graveside rites for Eusie L. Turner, 56, Borger resident since 1937, were held at 5 p.m. Saturday at Highland Park Cemetery.

Officiating minister was the Rev. J.W. Butler of First Methodist Church. Interment was under the direction of Minton Mortuary.

Turner was retired and lived at 912 S. McGee. He died at 1:45 a.m. Saturday in North Plains Hospital.

Surviving are two sons, Dr. Don Turner of New Orleans, La., Tommy Turner of Dallas; two brothers, four sisters and one grandchild.

Mrs. Virginia Rose Turner, 39, of 912 South Main street, died last night at 10:10 o'clock in the North Plains hospital where she had been confined for the last week.

She was the wife of Eusie Turner, of the Eusie Turner Inc., Ford auto agency here. They had made their home here for the last 20 years, coming to Borger from McLean.

Mrs. Turner was born in Chillicothe, Tex., but spent most of her childhood in Pampa. She was a graduate of Pampa high school and then attended Baylor University.

Her father, the late Mr. Rose, was a pioneer automobile dealer in the Panhandle and for years had the Ford agency in Pampa.

Mrs. Turner at one time was active in various women's clubs in the city and was well known as a golfer in women's circles until her health caused her to become less active. She was a member of the First Baptist church in Pampa.

Besides her husband, survivors include two sons, Don, 19, and Tom, 16; two brothers, Rex and Tom Rose of Pampa, and her step-mother, Mrs. Leora Rose.

Final rites will be conducted at the Borger First Baptist church at 4 p.m. Wednesday with Dr. Winfred Moore and the Rev. James G. Glenn, officiating. Interment will be in the local cemetery.

Active pallbearers include Dr. Waldo Beckley, J.H. Holcomb, Frank Harrington, Fritz Thompson, Earl Lanningham, T.L. Curry, H.L. Gunter and Goldie Blevens.

Honorary pallbearers include Dr. H.M. Hamra, Dr. W.H. Smith, Dr. W.W. Brooks, Hugh P. Johnson of Dumas, Joe Scott and J.T. Mann of Dalhart, Roy Webb of Pampa.

Also, Earl Butler, Ronnie Arendall, Jack Enlow, Jack Knight, Emmett Schone, Dr. A.F. Hansen, Clifford Braly, E. Don Baker, George Finger, R.L. Grimes, Ross McGill, G.H. Whitlock, and Don Conley.
