BORGER - Clifford E. Wilson, 90, died Monday, May 19, 2008.

Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in Highland Park Cemetery. Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Don Boren, pastor, officiating. Arrangements are by Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Mr. Wilson was born on June 29, 1917, in Peru, Kan. He was a mechanical engineer for Conoco Petroleum Co.

Survivors include a son, Bret Wilson of Borger; a daughter, Tara Steger of Borger; a sister, Wilma Ward of Caney, Kan.; and three grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Odyssey Hospice, 6900 Interstate 40 W., Suite 150, Amarillo, TX 79106; or First United Methodist Church, 200 N. McGee, Borger, TX 79007.

Betty J. Wilson, 71, died Saturday, Oct. 29, 1994 in St. Anthony's Hospital in Amarillo.

Funeral services were 11 a.m. today at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Archie Echols, pastor, officiating.

Burial was in Highland Park Cemetery by Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Wilson was a housewife and a native of Shawnee, Okla. She had been a Borger resident for 27 years.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Wilson married Clifford Wilson on Oct. 1, 1954 in Ardmore, Okla.

She is survived by her husband of the home; a son, Bret Wilson of Oklahoma City, Okla.; a daughter, Tara L. Steger, Borger; three sisters, Marie Henderson of Shawnee, Okla., Lucille Haile of Amarillo, Helen Ploughman of Oklahoma City, Okla. and three grandchildren.

Casket bearers were Bill Benge, Claude Robinson, Gary Voigt, John Macht, Charles Cooley and A. L. "Bud" Hendricks.

Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church Missions.
