Maudie W. Davis, 95 died Thursday.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday January 12, 1985 in the Primitive Baptist Church Jack Hays, pastor officiated. Burial was in Wheeler Cemetery by Wright Funeral Home.
Mrs. Davis was born November 16, 1889 in Wolfe City and lived in Wheeler County most of her life. She married Walter Scott Williams in 1910. He died in 1952. She married Melford Davis in 1957. He died in 1968. She had been a resident of Wheeler Care Center the past 18 months.
Survivers [sic] include two brothers, Dave Carter of McCauley and Tom Carter of Sweetwater; a sister, Ima Crow of Shamrock; and five grandchildren.
