Funeral services for Elizabeth Klassen, age 62 of Seminole, Texas will be held Sunday, January 26, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Sommerfeld Mennonie Church with Pastor John Schroeder officiating. Burial will follow at Gaines County Cemetery. All services are under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home.
Mrs. Klassen was born May 11, 1957 in Mexico to Katharina (Hiebert) and Johan Guenter. She married Johan Klassen in Mexico on July 6, 1980. She was a member of Somerfeld Mennonite Church and a home maker. Elizabeth enjoyed singing, sewing and animals.
Elizabeth Klassen passed away Wednsday, January 22, 2020 at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and one sister. She is survived by her husband, Johan Klassen of Seminole, Texas; three sons, Bernhard Klassen and wife Margaret of Kansas, Cornelius Klassen and wife Tina, and Henry Klassen and wife Mary all of Seminole; two daughters, Tina Fehr and husband Abe, and Liliana Wiebe and husband Jacob all of Seminole; two brothers, Peter Guenter and Maria of Mexico, and John Guenter and wife Margaret of Canada; thirteen grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
