BORGER - Jessie Elmer "Buck" Mitchell, 80, died Sunday, Oct. 17, 2004, in Amarillo.

Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. today in Highland Park Cemetery with the Rev. Leonard Forsythe, pastor of Bible Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors.

Mr. Mitchell was born July 4, 1924, in Pottsboro. He was a truck driver for Bowman/Chase Co.

Survivors include his wife, Mary; four sons, David Mitchell and Bruce Mitchell, both of Borger, Roger Mitchell of Tenaha and Billy Mitchell of Stinnett; two daughters, Brenda Wagoner and Cheryl Nixon, both of Borger; a brother, Marvin Mitchell of Durant, Okla.; a sister, Essie Jope of Claire, Okla.; 24 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
