*Obituary
Mrs. Rene M. Mitchell, 68, 402 Dallas, Borger, died Thursday afternoon in Amarillo.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Brown's Chapel of Fountains. The Rev. Troy Walker, pastor of Fairlanes Baptist Church, will officiate, and burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Ed Brown and Sons Funeral Home.
A former owner of Goodwin-Mitchell store in Phillips, she was a native of Salem, Ark., and a Borger resident for 62 years.
Mrs. Mitchell was a member of Fairlanes Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Marion Mitchell of the home; one daughter, Susie Roberts of Austin; one son, Tony Mitchell of Borger; and four grandchildren.
