Funeral services for James Clifton "Jim" Johnson, 42, Panhandle, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Central Baptist Church in Borger with the Rev. Terry Raines, pastor, officiating.

Mr. Johnson will lie in state Sunday at Minton-Chatwell Funeral Home in Borger.

Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery by Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Mr. Johnson died Wednesday Aug. 26 1992 in St. Anthony's Hospital in Amarillo.

He was born in Borger and was a lifetime resident of Borger. He was a carpenter for self and worked for Phillips Petroleum Company for 20 years. He was a member of Central Baptist Church of Borger, Masonic Lodge, coached Tri-City Youth League Sports for a number of years.

Survivors include his wife, Jackie of the home; two daughters, Tami Brantwein and Karen Johnson, both of Borger; two step-daughters, Robin Calhoun of Borger; and Dawna Hearon of Tacoma, Wash; a step-son, Chris Homer of Borger; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Johnson of Borger; a brother, Chuck Johnson of Fritch; two sisters, Pat Marchman of Borger; and Deana Mercer of Panhandle.

Pallbearers will be Dennie Litterell, Bernie Litterell, Mack McWilliams, Jimmy Raney, Robbie Lanier, and Roy Lee Bedorz.

The family will be staying at 1216 Minnesota.
