Obituary for O. T.
STINNETT - Reverend O.T. "Jimmy" Johnson, 79, died Sunday June 18 in Amarillo.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Riverview Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Gilmore, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in "Sunset Garden" at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Rev. Johnson was born in Clay County. He became a minister in 1956. He had lived in Amarillo from 1985 to 1990 and then moved to Borger. He was a member and assistant pastor of Riverview Baptist Church. He was camp director for youth camps from 1970 to 2000. He married Katherine Campbell on Nov. 4, 1994, in Stinnett.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Frances, in 1990, by a daughter, Kay Leach in 1994, and by a brother, Lowell M. Johnson.

Survivors include his wife, Katherine Johnson of the home; two daughters, Barbara Lorenz of Stinnett and Sidney Glick of Amarillo; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to BSA Hospice, Box 950, Amarillo, Texas 79176.

Obituary for Frances
Oressa Frances Johnson, 69, of Borger died on Monday, Oct. 1, 1990, in High Plains Baptist Hospital in Amarillo.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in Riverview Baptist Church with Rev. Jimmy Gillmore, pastor, officiating.

Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

A native of Clay County, she had been a Borger resident for the past two months, having lived in Amarillo for five years prior to her relocation to Borger. She was a ward attendant at the State Hospital and a member of Riverview Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Rev. Jimmy Johnson of the home; a daughter, Kay Leach of Wichita Falls; a brother, Finis Kinsey of Archer City; four grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Alton Cheatwood, J.D. Cheatwood, Bob Baker, Floyd Shannon, Garland Lehman, Jim Jennings, and Jamie Cheatwood.

Honorary pallbearers will be area Baptist ministers.
