*Obituary
Walker Jones, 81, 502 Galahad, died Thursday at Coronado Hospital in Pampa.
A retired architectural engineer at Phillips Plains Plant, he was a native of Johnson City, Ill. and a Borger resident for 45 years.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church and Panhandle Chapter of Professional Engineers. He was a graduate of Oklahoma University.
He is survived by his wife, Vera; three daughters, Jana Tolson of Pine Bluff, Ark, Gayla Sims and Krista Grimes, both of Houston; four grandchildren.
Vera Eppler and Walker Jones were married Sept. 4, 1943 at Oklahoma City, Okla.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Baptist Church with Dr. Gary Miller, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery under the direction of Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Home.
