Obituary for Floyd
BORGER - Floyd Bennett Jones, 72, died Monday, June 22, 1998.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Trinity Lutheran Church with the Rev. Fred Kelm, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery by Minton / Chatwell Funeral Directors.
Mr. Jones was born in Amarillo. He moved to Borger 46 years ago from Dalhart. He was owner of the F&M Company. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge and a Presbyterian.
He married Murrel Sessums in 1955 at Clayton, N.M. He was preceded in death by a son, Randall Thomas, in 1973.
Survivors include his wife, Murrel D. Jones; two stepsons, Danny N. Sessums of Port Arthur and Ronald H. Sessums of Irving; a daughter, Jana F. Knoll of Borger; a stepdaughter, Karen Thompson of Borger; and two grandchildren.
The family requests memorials be to American Cancer Society or Hospice of Panhandle.

BORGER - Murrel Dean Jones, 82, died Sunday, Oct. 23, 2005.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Steven Misch, pastor of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, officiating. Burial will be in The Garden of Serenity in Westlawn Memorial Park.
Mrs. Jones was a retired secretary for Diamond Well Service. She was a member of Desk & Derrick Club for 40 years and Toast Mistresses.
Survivors include two sons, Danny Sessums of Houston and Ronald Sessums of Irving; two daughters, Karen Thompson and Jana Knoll, both of Borger; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
The family suggests memorials be to Ware Living Center, Alzheimer's Unit, 400 W. 14th Ave., Amarillo, TX 79101.
