Obituary for Mace
BORGER – Mace Hollis Jones, 88, died Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2011, in Amarillo.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Bible Baptist Church with the Rev. Leonard Forsythe officiating. Burial will be in the Garden of Love at Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
Mr. Jones served in the United States Army during World War II, and was a member of Bible Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Bob Jones of Skellytown; three daughters, Debi Anderson, Linda Poston and Rena Mitchell, all of Borger; two sisters, Maudie "Bill" Smith and Nadine Oldham, both of Amarillo; 12 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.

FRITCH - Mary J. Jones, 84, died Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2010, in Borger.

Mrs. Jones was born Feb. 28, 1925, in Jester, Okla. She married Mace Jones on Feb. 29, 1944, in Wheeler.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Bob Jones of Skellytown; three daughters, Linda Poston, Rena Mitchell and Debi Anderson, all of Borger; two brothers, Howard Ray Ferris of California and Tex Ferris of Shamrock; a sister, Betty Felton of Amarillo; 12 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
