Ronnie Smith, 44, of Borger, died Tuesday, April 19, 2016.

Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 22, 2016 at the Minton Memorial Chapel with Rusty Rankin of Borger officiating. Burial will follow in the Garden of Love at Westlawn Memorial Park. Services are under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Ronnie Smith was born April 21, 1971 in Borger to Carl and Patricia Gayle Haney. He was a member of the Church of God. Ronnie loved sports, especially baseball, where he was pitcher, and also enjoyed a good game of football.

Survivors include his son Ronnie Smith Jr. of Skellytown; his father, Carl Smith and his wife Lee; his brother Tony Landreth and Lola Johnson of Elk City, Oklahoma; four sisters, Adella Owen and husband Bobby of Wellston, Oklahoma, Tammy Halstead and husband James of Deer Park, LoRena Pippen and husband Randy of Lubbock, Saphronia Hollaway and husband Casey of Melrose, New Mexico.

Ronnie is preceded in death by his mother, Patricia Gayle Williams, and two brothers, Carl Smith Jr. and Dave Harville.
