Ruby Jo Smith Yates, 67, died Tuesday, Feb. 14, 1995 in Golden Plains Community Hospital.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Westlawn Memorial Park with Rev. Mike Smith, pastor of Fellowship Baptist Church, officiating.
Burial will be by Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.
A native of Dawson, N.M., Mrs. Yates had been a resident of Borger since 1959.
She was a housewife and was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. She also belonged to Eastern Star, Daughters of the Nile and the Lady's Class at Fellowship Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, J.J. Smith in 1989.
Mrs. Yates married Richard Yates in 1989 in Borger.
She is survived by her husband, of the home; two daughters, Riette Dawson of Albuquerque, N.M., Clariette Smith of Borger, a sister, Etha Mae Bailey of Riverbank, Calif.; eight grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
