*Obituary
DUMAS - Mary Von Dean Smith, 77, died Friday, Aug. 28, 2009, in Amarillo.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors Minton Memorial Chapel in Borger with C.W. Parker, chaplain of Odyssey Healthcare, officiating. Burial will be in Highland Park Cemetery.
Mary was born April 28, 1932, in Stinnett to Richard Frank and Winnie Maude Dean. She was raised in Borger.
Survivors include two sons, Robert Smith of Bonaire, Ga., and David Smith of Amarillo; three daughters, Annie Kepley of Amarillo, Terry Curtis of Waynoka, Okla., and Mary Ernst of Midwest City, Okla.; two sisters, Francis Patterson of Pampa and Betty Gilchrest of Skellytown; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
