Graveside funeral services for a former long time Borger resident who died Friday at 5 p.m. in Galveston's John Sealy Hospital are scheduled at 4 p.m. Monday.

L. Smith, 86, a Borger resident from 1926 until moving to Kemah in 1958, was born in 1879 in Sommerville, Texas.

Rev. Lyman Wood, pastor of the Wesley Methodist Church, will officiate with burial to be in Highland Park Cemetery.

Simpson Funeral Home is in charge of services.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Kate Franklin, Spokane, Wash,; Mrs. Juanita Olson, Kemah; two sons, Ralph, White Deer; Jack of Texas City; 12 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Mollie Parthena Smith, 69, of 825 Whittenburg died Thursday in Highland General Hospital, Pampa, after a brief illness. She had been a resident of Borger since 1929.

Survivors include her husband, L. Smith, of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Kate Franklin of Pampa, and Mrs. R.C. Pullium of Borger; two sons, R.M. Smith of White Deer, and J.L. Smith of the Army Air Force, Alaska; and twelve grandchildren.

Funeral services are pending at Simpson Funeral Home.
