Jerrall David Smith, 65, died Tuesday, Jan. 3, in Borger.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Highland Park Cemetery with Rev. Leonard Forsythe, Pastor of Bible Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will be in "Eastlawn Garden" at Highland Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton/Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

Mr. Smith was born on May 22, 1940, in Ranger. He was a retired machinist and former owner of Independent & Industrial Machine.

He married Barbara Bond on May 23, 2002, in Stinnett. He was a member of the Borger Elks Lodge and Ambucs.

He was preceded in death by his father George Smith in 1999, his mother Ola Belle Smith in 1999 and a son Jerrall Smith, Jr. in 1985.

Survivors include his wife Barbara Smith of the home, a son Bryson Smith of Borger, two daughters, Wendy Word of Amarillo and Amy Richie of Plano, a brother Stanley Smith of Pampa, a sister Becky Weber of Borger, one grandson Ryan Smith of Plano, one granddaughter Abby Benson of Dubuque, Iowa, three nephews, Les Weber and Scot Smith, both of Borger and Joshua Smith of Pampa, and one niece Robin Meek of Amarillo.
