Dura Lena Smith
September 23, 1935 - September 15, 2017
Dura Lena Smith, 79 of Borger died Friday September 15th in Borger. Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Wednesday at First Baptist Church of Borger. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Minton Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger. Family and friends visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
Dura was born September 23, 1937 in Allen, Oklahoma to Elmer Lee and Clara Bell (Legg) Gardner. She was co-owner of Smittys Furniture in Borger. She was a member of First Baptist Church. She loved working with people, working in the flower beds, going camping, fishing and her grandkids.
She was preceded in death by her husband H. R. " Smitty" Smith, Parents, three brothers and two sisters.
Surviving is a son Leldon Leon Holliman and wife Tracee of Folsom, CA. Daughters Rhonda Nelson and husband al of Dewey, OK: Brenda Holliman Williams of Borger. Step-son Ricky Smith of Pocatello, ID. Sister Billie Dean Smith of Matador, TX. Seven grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
