Emmett Smith, 50, Borger, died Tuesday, Nov. 22, 1994 in Golden Plains Community Hospital.

Services are pending with Minton-Chatwell Funeral Directors of Borger.

A native of Pampa, he grew up in the Albany area, and had been a Borger resident for 22 years. He was a machinist for Payton Machine and Supply, and a musician.

He was preceded in death by his father in 1983, and a brother, Dan in 1965.

He married Pat Ream on Nov. 6, 1981 in Borger.

Survivors include his wife of the home; four sons, Tony Smith of Borger; Darrell Smith of Fort Worth; Bobby Ream and Jimmy Ream, both of Borger; two daughters, Cathy Bolin of Borger; and Becky Ream of the home; his mother, Lillian Smith of Abilene; a brother, Bob Smith of Borger; two sisters, Pat Koch of Abilene; and Debbie Mars of Borger; and five grandchildren.
